3. Gerard Butler
4. Brad Pitt
5. George Clooney

Have you seen "P.S. I Love You" yet???

Lisa said...

I haven't seen it yet. I need to get past the idea that Hillary Swank was completely miscast. Why not Jennifer Garner or Poppy Montgomery?

Ok, I saw PS I love you,
and my take, it was ok,
and I love chick flicks and love stories.
I agree about the miss cast of Hillary Swank,
everyone is trying to be the new Meg Ryan,
and I have not found her yet,
I do like Poppy Montgomery too,
Jennifer Garner is ok,
I know Julia Roberts is getting too old, sad but true,
give me another choice,
Man, when did I get so opinionated about actresses?
I'd like to see Courtney Cox do a romantic comedy,
not just Jennifer Aniston

Melinda said...

Oh I would have loved for Jennifer Garner to be in it. :) I'm afraid I don't know who Poppy Montgomery is? (Don't throw anything at me!)

I did not come prepared to share my top fives. Yours are close enough. :)

I actually came to say, we found the West Highland Way race on the internet last summer and now Chad is itching to try it. It starts in Glasgow at midnight (this is in the middle of June every year), and finishes in Fort William at noon 36 hours later. And lots of people have done it, as crazy as that sounds.

Lisa said...

Su,
That does sound crazy. Yeah, I want to take the whole week to enjoy it . . . no running.

Celia,
What about Kate Beckinsale? She's so lovely! Piper Pearabo, maybe. Gwyneth Paltrow, even. I love Mandy Moore, although, she might be too young for the role . . . anybody but Swank!

Melinda,
Poppy Montgomery is the blonde in Without a Trace TV series. Don't hit you? You're going to make people think that I have a history of violent behavior!

Rachel Weisz, Kerri Russell, Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Chalke, Anna Friel, Amy Adams . . . ALL better choices than Swank. Actually, I think Rachel Weisz would've been perfect for the role. If you don't know who these people are, go to IMDB.com and punch in their names . . . you'll know most of them when you see them.

Anonymous said...

Ok, i hve heard of a few of those names,
some I can not put a face to.
I like Kerri Russel too,

I guess poor ole Swank is type cast now, she has to play the serious drama,
or we won't have it,

I will check out that IMDB.com tomrrow.
