You take some awesome pictures! Thank you for posting your pictures. I stink at plant names too. I enjoy making up my own. I wish I could of gone. I love educational plant stuff. I have planted some seeds for vegetables. I am praying they grow, but truth be known, I have tried this before and got some sprouts but never any real plants.
I can name all the plants in my house, which for some reason impresses people, but that's about as far as I go. Now I used to stop and name off all the plants in United when I was taking botany, but that was more in the nature of extra study time than anything else. And annoying my husband.
Anyway, Lubbock Lake Landmark looks like a promising place for some alliteration. And also for gathering pics for Lubbock Daily Photo, so I will have to get myself out there. Thank you for sharing!
